For no one can lay any foundation other than the one
already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

About Us

Solid Foundations exists to help others cope with the stresses of everyday life and to give them an open, judgement free place to share life’s hurts and joys. Our goal is to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as other scientifically proven methods in counseling to help our clients reach their full potential.

We also offer faith-based counseling in a setting that is relaxing and peaceful. We believe that if we can get to the root of problems, we can not only teach coping skills, but also change the way events are perceived and the effect they have on your mental health. We are not meant to walk this journey in life alone and we at Solid Foundations are excited to join you as you heal from past hurts and become the best you possible.

Telehealth Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we now offer Telehealth services on a HIPPA compliant platform.

You are not on your path alone.

Our Team

Laura Lovett

MA, LPC-S Candidate

I have been a counselor for 9 years with previous experience as a social worker in the areas of Children’s Services and the therapeutic foster care networks since 1998. I have worked in many different settings and strive to understand and help others. Since opening Solid Foundations, I have discovered how much I truly enjoy helping others to have a voice and learn how to become a victor over trauma and life’s obstacles. I am currently studying to become a supervisor to assist other counselors get their licensure and I am hopeful of what the future holds.

There have been many obstacles in my past and I have learned through each one of them how faithful God is and how every situation has been used for my good and His glory. I have learned to look at trauma in a manner that defuses the flashbacks and find God in the situation, even when it seemed to have been hopeless. I have experience working with children as young as 10 years old and understand the family unit is the real client in this situation. I enjoy working with teens as well as men, women, and couples. With blended families being on the rise, I have worked with many families to learn how to build trust and operate in a loving and healthy manner that shows respect to each person.

As a women’s support group facilitator, I have experience working with many women to overcome domestic abuse, codependency, and narcissistic abuse. Every person who walks in has a voice and makes an impact in some way. I truly desire to help others understand the worth they are given that no one can take away. No one is worthless and there is no situation that is hopeless. I would love to help you walk through your obstacles, just as others have helped me.

Telehealth Telehealth Only

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years experience. Although I am new to the Camden area, I am not new to the many obstacles life can bring. I have a deep understanding of the many challenges individuals can face on a daily basis that can result in depression, anxiety and fear to just name a few. Having the opportunity to know firsthand what it is like to go through such difficult circumstances and come through them healthier, stronger and more excited about life than ever, I have been blessed with a deep desire to work with others in helping them find the same hope I have been given.

I utilize an integrative approach that best fits your individual needs while functioning from a Christ-centered perspective. I can promise that you will be provided with a safe, caring and compassionate environment where you are able to learn and grow without feeling judged or condemned.

I truly look forward to working with you in your journey of healing, growth and becoming excited about life again or for the first time ever!

Do you ever catch yourself shaking your leg, having trouble sleeping, or finding the thoughts in your mind racing? Kudos to you for making it this far, and finding yourself searching for someone to help you. I would love to get the opportunity to work alongside you to strengthen your mental health and achieve the goals that you have set for yourself while encouraging you to recognize the power you hold within yourself to make these changes. I approach counseling from a person-centered perspective and aim to provide an environment where you feel comfortable and supported as each individual's experience is unique to themselves.

I believe that therapy is both a rewarding and challenging experience; therefore, it is my goal to provide a safe, nurturing environment to facilitate your personal growth. I utilize an integrative approach to therapy; therefore, I may use concepts from different models such as Cognitive-Behavioral, Gestalt, narrative, and expressive arts.

I have a drive to increase open communication and comfortability in the LGBTQ+ community by allowing you to be yourself in an accepting space with a counselor who can truly understand. Facing the hardships of being LGBTQ+ is already difficult before considering a society that does not always agree with your life choices. Supporting you, accepting you.

Anna Dickinson

LPC-A

My name is Anna, and I am a counselor at Solid Foundations. Reaching out for help can be an intimidating process but recognizing that help is needed takes courage by itself. Take pride in the monumentous decision to seek guidance beyond your social or familial circles! I am here to guide you towards your personal goals in this partnership I hope to develop. I can assist with individuals, relationships, adolescent and teens. My intentions are to work with you by treating you as an individual, with individualized techniques for your specific needs.

My goal is to make you independent and self-aware of anxiety, depression and stress triggers and how to self-regulate those emotions into constructive behavior by understanding how they work. These fundamental triggers affect not only yourself but your loved ones as well. Helping yourself affects everyone and promotes healthy relationships

I personally deal with life stressors by playing with my puppy Patton! He is a GSP and what he lacks in obedience, he makes up with love, energy, snuggles, zoomies and… did I mention energy? Healthy outlets to stressful situations are paramount to a successful emotional well-being. My goal is to help you find your inner happiness.
